Mocha Power Protein Shake

Here’s a shake that will get you going!

If you need a feisty wake up call in the morning or a super boost before Bootcamp, this combo will get you buzzing!

Not only that, it tastes very much like a mocha frappe from a coffee shop – win, win, win!

It contains frozen banana which is an amazing ingredient to keep stocked in your freezer. Simply buy a big bunch of bananas, peel them all and chop into chunks, then freeze in a plastic tub or bag and you can just throw a few chunks into smoothies or shakes. Being frozen means the cool the shake down without adding ice so that it stays really creamy.

INGREDIENTS (serves 1)
1 x scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 x frozen banana in chunks
1 x small handful spinach
1 x tsp raw cacao powder
1 x tsp instant coffee
1/4 x tsp mixed spice

METHOD:
Blend all ingredients well, until smooth.
If the shake is too thick add a dash more milk and blend again.
Drink, and get everything done!
1 x glass milk/almond milk
